BU100 - Budget Management

This course provides an overview of the NCFS Release 1 Budget module capabilities for the Budget Analysts and how NCFS’ budget module works together with IBIS. Attendees will compare budgetary processes in IBIS to budgetary processes in the NCFS’ Budget module. Attendees will receive a step-by-step on how Budget Analysts complete their work in NCFS Budget and view budget-related reports.

At the conclusion of this course, participants will:                                                    

• Understand the scope of the NCFS Budgetary Control Module 
• Understand the key changes, benefits, and constraints of the NCFS Budgetary Control Module 
• Understand how to perform Budget tasks in NCFS 
• Understand how to generate reports in NCFS
