TM220 WBT - Preliminary Material for Time Administration

TM220 WBT is intended to provide participants with an overview of the terms, concepts, knowledge and skills associated with the Time Administration functions in the OSC Integrated HR-Payroll System.  The duration is approximately 1 hour and is a prerequisite for TM300, Time Administration.

This class is part of the process for obtaining the Time Administrator security role.  To acquire this role you must do the following:

  • A Security Request must be submitted by the Agency's Data Owner to create/change roles assigned to an employee's position.  The required training classes must be completed before the position gains security access to the requested role.

At the conclusion of this course participants will:

  • Describe Time Administration process
  • Describe time roles and responsibilities
    • Time Administrators vs. ESS
  • Describe Time recording terms and concepts
  • Identify time codes for use during time entry
  • Describe premium pay eligibility concepts and calculations
  • Describe quotas in SAP
  • Describe important system behaviors for time
