Inter/Intra Governmental Transactions Procedures and Processes

Several systems have been developed for entities that have funds on deposit with the State Treasurer to disburse funds to other entities that also "bank" with the State Treasurer, thereby keeping the transactions out of the commercial banking system. The primary system is OSC's Inter/Intra Governmental Transfer feature available to NCAS agencies, which is described below. Another system, which may be suited for transactions not eligible for the OSC system, is the Funds Transfer feature offered through the State Treasurer's Core Banking System (for payments to the Retirement System and the Department of Revenue).
