Use
This report series is used to report the Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) statistics each quarter that are required by law. The purchasing manager should generate this report more frequently to monitor the volume of purchases from HUB vendors. HUB vendors include female-owned businesses, minority-owned businesses, handicapped-owned businesses, disabled business enterprises, and the non-profit work centers for the blind and severely disabled.

Content
This report is a summary report submitted to State Purchasing and Contract on a quarterly basis. It contains, by purchase type, the dollars spent in purchases from the different categories of underutilized businesses. The HUB Purchasing Detail Report is also run as a part of this report series and supports the totals on the summary report.

Totals
This report gives totals for department purchases, purchase type, and HUB purchases by purchase type.

Column Headings

• TOTAL DOLLARS SPENT - quantity times price plus additional cost and tax per purchase type and HUB category.
• PERCENT- percent of HUB category purchases of total purchase type dollars spent.(HUB category/purchase type)
