OSC’s North Carolina Financial System (NCFS) Division will host a final North Carolina Accounting System (NCAS) 1099 Processing training session on Monday, May 1st, 2023, for all state agency financial staff involved in 1099 reporting. A broad overview of 1099 procedures for the 2023 tax year will be presented at the beginning of the session for all fiscal staff. Please see below for the training session agenda.

Recommended Attendees:

All state agency financial staff involved in 1099 reporting (e.g., Chief Financial Officers, Controllers, NCAS Accounts Payable Managers, Accounts Payable Assistants, any additional NCAS personnel responsible for 1099 flagging and/or corrections, NCFS Change Management Staff, etc.)

Requirements:

Users attending the NCAS 1099 Processing Training must have a valid RACFID and NCAS Operator ID OR be involved in the management of the 1099 process.
