August 21, 1998 A new procedure to bring invoices back from history has been implemented.  Please be sure to review and advise all AP personnel of this new procedure.   
August 21, 1998 The Training Schedule has been updated to include October. 

We are pleased to announce a new instructor for the Using IE in the NCAS Environment class.  Margaret Wilson has almost 10 years of IE experience.  In addition, Margaret is the person in Support Services who answers IE questions whenever someone from an agency has a problem.  Margaret is also the facilitator of the Information Expert Lab.  We are excited to have Margaret on our instructor team.

Temporary Asset Information 
Beginning 8/10, temporary assets for August have been injected into the Fixed Assets system prematurely.  These assets will be deleted during FA processing for 8/19.  On 8/20, consistent with the Fixed Asset end-of-year processing schedule, all pending temporary August assets (8-1 through 8/20) will be properly injected into the Fixed Asset system. 

We apologize for any inconveniences and appreciate your continued support.

August 13, 1998 The 1997 Single Audit Reporting package information has been added to the OSC website under financial reporting.  If your agency or institution administered federal funds, please take time to review the audit findings located in the Corrective Action Plan and Summary Schedule of Prior Year Audit Findings.

August 12, 1998 OSC has added a new IE Lab to the September training schedule.  Slots are filling up quickly, register early! 

Reminder:  If you are interested in taking a training class and it is not listed on the current schedule, complete a registration form leaving the date blank and fax it to (919)981-5561.  Once we receive enough registration forms, the course will be added to the schedule.  You will be notified of the class date by phone. If you have any questions concerning training, please call Sue Rader at (919)981-5415.

The Purchasing Step-by-Steps and System Processes have been updated to reflect changes from the 96.01 upgrade. 

Using IE in the NCAS Environment Step-by-Steps and System Processes have been added to the Policies and Procedures topic in the Documentation door.
