| SUBJECT: | New NCAS Agency Specific General Ledger (GL) C-DETAIL files |
The Office of the State Controller (OSC) has now made available agency-specific versions of the NCAS GL C-DETAIL file. Using these new files can greatly reduce the run times and the associated costs for reports which access the C-DETAIL file, such as the DAPG67- Detail Transaction Ledger report.
Accessing these new files to generate reports will require modification of the Data Definition (DD) statement in the GL DETAIL section of the RUN-JCL file. Instructions on how to make the required changes are attached in a Microsoft Word file named "Change_DETAIL_RUN-JCL.doc".
