SUBJECT:  Change in Month End Certification Procedures
In an effort to simplify the month end certification process and more efficiently serve our NCAS users, the Office of the State Controller (OSC) has placed an interactive month end certification form on the North Carolina Accounting System Information Guide (SIG) at:

http://www.osc.state.nc.us/month_end_form.html

Please bookmark this site on your PC.

Instructions for completing the form are located at the top of the form. This form replaces the faxed form that certifies that month end reports are accurate, complete and reconciled with the OSC Cash Management section. All state agencies that have access to the Internet should begin using this form to certify for the month of March. Agencies that do not have access to the Internet should continue to fax the month end form to the OSC. Please note that the email address will serve as the official signature of the document.
