SUBJECT:   Schedule of Federal Financial Assistance - Budgetary Basis (CAFR 30)

This memo is to inform you that the Office of the State Controller (OSC) will be delivering the Schedule of Federal Financial Assistance (CAFR 30) report to your agency beginning September 5, 1996. The report is stored in Replica format and will be delivered via FTP to your agencys file server. Since this report reflects cash basis financial information from July 1, 1995 through June 29, 1996, the report will be sent to your agency only once. If however, extreme circumstances require your agency to update the previous fiscal year periods, this report must be requested again by your agency, since replica reports are not refreshed as other Smartstream processes. NOTE: Updates to the previous fiscal year should not be performed unless permission is granted by the OSC-State Accounting Division.

To access the Schedule of Federal Financial Assistance report, use the SmartStream Executive Desktop. Click on the Blue Globe Icon in the NCAS program group to start the SmartStream Executive Desktop. The Replica Financial Reports button (Red Button with a Dollar Sign) is located in the Financial Analysis Section. A Financial Reports Pop-up box is activated by clicking the Replica Financial Reports button and a drop down list will be displayed by clicking the down arrow. The Schedule of Federal Financial Assistance should be listed in the drop down list. (NOTE: There could be other Replica reports listed here in the future at which time your agency would be notified.) Click on the report to select it and then click on the Open button. The Replica software should have been installed on your computer when the NCAS program software was installed. Contact you LAN Administrator if you need to have Replica installed.
