of Stop Order Screen |
Previously when entering
information into the payroll screen “138” for stop orders, your keyboard
setting had to be set to allow you to enter a “D” along with the sequence
number into the numeric field, “CK/DEP NO >”. Some agencies were
experiencing a problem with this situation. Because of this setting,
it was necessary for a few agency payroll centers to send their stop orders
to our office for keying. The field has now been changed within the
system from numeric to alpha/numeric. The “D” and sequence number can
now be entered into the field “CK/DEP NO>” by ALL agencies, without modifications
being necessary to the keyboard. Unless our office keys your payroll,
the stop orders should now be entered at the agency level.
