Changes |
As mentioned during the May 4, 2004 Payroll Forum, the following payroll changes have been implemented:
- The first five digits of the employee Social Security Number are no longer printed on checks and direct deposit forms. The Social Security Number is, and will continue to be used, on all other payroll documentation, such as payroll registers and reports. This step was taken to help prevent identity theft.
- Page two of the employee year-to-date screen has been converted to a columnar format. This format will provide more efficient utilization of the available screen space. Page one and page three of the employee year-to-date screen will be converted to the columnar format at a later date.
