Pick List
Warehouse personnel can use the Pick List (RPLST) report to pick items for an order in the most efficient manner. The Pick List (RPLST) report gives organized picking instructions for each order that has been allocated or reallocated during the production cycle.
A separate pick list is generated for each incoming usage order at the appropriate warehouse. If items picked are to be taken to separate staging areas, a separate page is printed for each area. Items are listed in alphanumeric order by warehouse area on the report. Items in each area are then listed by item number. For items with a limited shelf life, the Pick List (RPLST) report also displays the expiration date and location of the oldest inventory available so that this inventory can be picked first. The Pick List (RPLST) report displays the item number, description, pick quantity, unit of measure, and location for each item to be picked.
The Pick List (RPLST) report is designed to fit on letter-size paper so that it can be attached to clipboards and can guide warehouse staff as they gather items to fill an order. Warehouse staff should record the quantity of items actually picked in the appropriate blanks on the pick list so that those quantities can be recorded in the NCAS correctly. The picked quantities are entered in the NCAS via the Post Picking Activity (PPA) screen in the Inventory module.
The warehouse manager should review the Pick List (RPLST) report daily. It is located in RMDS in the report group IN260-2.
