The NCAS also allows you to delete individual accounts within the group accounts. Accounts within a group account are deleted real-time. The Group Account Delete (GAD) screen is used to delete group accounts from the Group Account File.

To delete an entire group account, each individual account within the group account must be deleted using the Group Account Delete (GAD) screen. In addition, the entire group account cannot be deleted if it is associated with any items. To delete the entire group account, the link between the group account and its items must be deleted. The link between group account and the items can be deleted by either deleting the items from the system or by changing the group account associated with the items. In other words, to delete the entire group account, items must either be deleted from the system or the new group account must be associated with them.
