Requesting the OSC to Stop Backup Withholding on Trade Vendors
When you receive a Form W-9, SSA Form 7028 or IRS Letter 147C, you must stop withholding. To stop backup withholding on trade vendors:
| 1. | Send a copy of the backup withholding form along with a copy of the Form W-9, SSA Form 7028 or IRS Letter 147C to the OSC NCAS Help Desk. From this form, NCAS Support Services will make the appropriate changes to the vendor file and stop backup withholding. |
