March Time Entries
The deadline for submitting March time entries to the BEACON HR/Payroll project team is this Friday, April 18. Agencies that do not submit this data by the deadline will be responsible for calculating any differentials and doing a pre-SAP wage type entry.

Review Quota Balances for Accuracy
As you are aware, the initial batch of quota balances you sent to us were loaded into the BEACON system on April 15. While entering the quota balances we noticed that some of the quotas looked incorrect, while others were missing. Also, there were certain cases where the balances that were submitted could not be loaded into the system. We have flagged those records and someone from the BEACON team will be following up with your agency. In order to resolve these issues as quickly as possible we need your assistance. Please review the records you submitted, or have employees log into Employee Self Service to check their balances and inform you of any discrepancies. There are some quota issues you will be able to resolve at the agency level, whereas other issues will need to be handled by an agent at the BEST Shared Services Center.

Non-Leave Administrator Quota Corrections
It is important to note that any quota corrections required for comp time quotas (over time, holiday or on-call comp) should be sent to BEST for processing. Although Leave Administrators can select the comp time quota types when creating an infotype 2013 Quota Correction record, this will not create the appropriate aging records needed for comp time. The BEACON Production Support Team will have to process these corrections.

Leave Administrator Quota Corrections
Corrections for other quotas (such as vacation, sick, bonus, etc.), which were loaded into the system effective April 1, can be processed by Leave Administrators using the infotype 2013 for the appropriate quota type. Remember not to create more than one 2013 with the same start date for the same quota type. Changes made to the quota balances will be updated during the system’s nightly time evaluation run.

Community Service Leave Balances
Some Group Two agency employees' Community Service Leave balances are still being loaded into the system and should be finalized early next week.
